Important Information/Museum Entry Guidelines

Reservation Process:

  • Reserve a spot for EVERY PERSON in your group, including members and children under the age of 1.
  • Your reservation is not complete until you hit "Check Out" AND receive your order number. You will also receive a confirmation email and eTickets.
  • Reservations are free:
    • Admission for members is free.
    • General admission guests (including Explorer Pass/SNAP participants) will pay upon arrival.
    • The Museum is not currently accepting CityPASS. Please visit this page for CityPASS customer care.

 

Museum Experience:

  • Play sessions are 90 minutes. 
  • Museum play is currently limited to Bubbles, Kinetics, My Market, Fire Station No. 1, Ready Vet Go, 3 2 1 Blast Off, The Art Studio, The Teaching Kitchen, Water (indoor), and Joy Park. Some experiences have been modified for safety. All other exhibits, including Adventure Forest, are closed at this time.
  • The Gift Shop and Café are open. 

 

Safety:

  • To ensure the safety of your family and our staff, we are closely following all of Denver's current Safer at Home guidelines, in addition to our own Safer Play policies and protocols. Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in your party being asked to leave the Museum.
  • As mandated by the City and County of Denver, all guests ages three (3) and over are required to wear a mask or face covering indoors, even if they have already received the vaccine or have already had COVID-19. Masks/face coverings must be cloth or disposable medical masks, fully cover the nose and mouth, and worn at all times unless seated at a designated table. Medical exemptions, face shields, and mesh masks are not accepted. Masks may be removed in Joy Park.
  • Guests must follow directional signage and maintain a social distance of six (6) feet from anyone outside their party to the maximum extent possible.
  • To ensure the safety of our visitors and staff, individuals who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, who are aware that they have been exposed to COVID-19, or who are experiencing any symptoms of infection from the COVID-19 virus may not enter the Museum. The Children’s Museum requires that anyone entering the facility be free of symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control. By making this reservation, you confirm that you, your family, and everyone in your reservation: (i) are not currently experiencing these symptoms, (ii) do not have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, and (iii) that you will reschedule your visit should anyone in your reservation present with any symptoms or contract the virus before entering the Museum.
  • All guests acknowledge that risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely serious and highly contagious disease that can lead to illness and death. Public health authorities have stated that certain persons are at higher risk for severe illness. By making this reservation, all guests acknowledge the serious and contagious nature of COVID-19.
  • All guests are personally responsible for their own safety and actions while on Museum premises, including but not limited to those related to potential or actual exposure to COVID-19.
  • All guests expressly waive any legal or other claims against the Children’s Museum arising from or relating to COVID-19.
